Harvest 09
September 27, 2009 09:59 AM PDT
The second and third postings in this series of three are taken from this years Harvest festival service held on 27th September. In this sermon, David Gale talks about the relevance of the harvest to us today. Let’s face it, we don’t rely on it being a great growing season for our food each day. We simply go to Sainsbury’s, Tesco’s or any other outlet to get hold of seasonal goods from all over the world. So why celebrate harvest? Drawing on Genesis 2:4-15 and James 5:1-6, David looks at the Him, Me and Us of the harvest. |
